Step 1

After cleansing in the evening, smooth a pea-sized amount of Sleep Glycolic onto the face, neck and décolletage - avoiding the eye area. Some slight skin tingling is normal.

NOTE: For use 2-3 times per week.

Step 2

Follow with other serums and night moisturizer. Leave on overnight. As Sleep Glycolic is directly active on your skin, it should be the second step in your evening skincare regimen (after cleansing). Layer all other serums and moisturizers on top.

Step 3

Always wear sunscreen the next day after using Sleep Glycolic. Patch testing prior to use is advised.

This active is contained within a cyclodextrin-based shell (pronounced 'sy-clo-DEXtrin'). The effectiveness of exfoliating acid products depends on two main things: how much acid is in the product (i.e. its %) and how acidic it is (i.e. its pH). Having a low level of acidity is important to make the acid work in the product.

Exfoliating acids, like AHA or BHA, can be either active or inactive. Only when they are active, can they go into your skin and help with stubborn skin concerns.

In Sleep Glycolic, we made sure our acid is active by making the product more acidic than most with a pH of 3.5 to ensure it delivers 10% of active acid. This makes our glycolic acid product very powerful.

To control this power and prevent skin irritation, we use crystal encapsulation to release it slowly throughout the night and recommend using it twice a week to keep your skin healthy.
